Dr Jim Hasn has been providing high quality orthopaedic surgical care to the Central Coast community since moving here in 1994.
With more than two decades of experience, his passion and focus lies on providing care for patients needing surgery for arthritis of the hip and knee joints.
To date, he has performed well over 34000 joint replacements, including revision surgery and he continues his commitment to improving the quality of life for local patients suffering with osteoarthritis and related conditions.
After graduating Medicine from Sydney University in 1983, Dr Jim Hasn spent his early post-graduate years at the Prince of Wales and the Prince Henry Hospitals in Sydney, where his interest in orthopaedics grew.
He advanced his joint replacement skills and passion during a year spent at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital in England, where the groundbreaking McKee-Farrar hip replacement was pioneered.
In 1990 Dr Hasn was accepted onto the Australian Orthopaedic Association Registrar Training Scheme, being awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 1993. Fellowship to the Australian Orthopaedic Association followed in 1998.
